The No. 500 fixed head stretcher comes with a push-button locking power handle, Auto-Lok tube, 3 extension tube sections, 1 transfer tube section, and a folding tail block. The Auto-Lok tube provides fast length adjustments in flexible increments. The tubes adjust from 37 inches to 23 feet, and can be lengthened with additional extension tubes (No. 502). The folding tail block allows you to stretch off walls, corners, or posts. The pin depth adjusting knob on the driving head provides variable pin depth settings, without the screws or screwdrivers found on other stretchers. Model No. 500 comes with a space-saving single case design that holds all the components. Case has wheels for transport.

The cotton grip head for our No. 499 and 500 Power Stretchers is recommended when stretching Berber carpets, loop pile carpets, and other low-level commercial carpets. The wire nap grips of this head are less likely to pull or snag loops or yarns that are easily damaged by the standard stretcher pin plate. Nap grips are replaceable.

Each No. 502 Extension Tube Section can add up to 4 feet 8 inches of length to your stretcher in 4 inch increments. The holes of the tubes are punched rather than drilled for precision and durability. The spring buttons are flat on their top faces for smooth adjustment. The buttons are precisely located within the inner tube, so that they retain hold the outer tube on the inner tube during transport. Works with other standard size diameter poles. Closed length: 2 foot 10 inches. Range of useful length adjustment: 3 foot 4 inches to 4 foot 8 inches.

The No. 503 includes the head case only. The space-saving design holds the driving head, transfer tube, tail block, Auto-Lok tube, and up to 3 additional extension tubes. The case has wheels for easy transport. The head case is made from tough yet lightweight blow-molded plastic, Latches and handles are recessed for added durability. Net weight: 11 lbs.
